This image haunts me
(Picture posted by Melissa Smith, Houston Chronicle)This image haunts me every day. I have been spending days online trying to find out if she and the baby are safe. This is LeeAnn Bemboom Russo with her son Jahon. It was taken on Thursday and her son had gone for several hours without water. She was having trouble getting him to stay awake. I have been online feverishly and haven't heard anything yet. I have emailed CNN & MSNBC and have heard nothing. I have received emails from others who are looking as well. I am not going to stop until I know what happened to her............... I want to help her. I have never felt so strongly about anything before (must be the mommy in me). I hope to find something soon..................

I've been wondering too. Just like it's killing me wondering what happened to the 7 year-old girl they found in the freezer in the convention center. This stuff haunts me. It's so awful.
The baby is fine - I saw on another board that the baby got food and water right after that was taped. I saw them on the news the next day too and the baby was alert and smiling. They are ok :)

actually that pic was taken before she even made in to the convention center. It got worse after that picture.
