Another use for a hip brace

I had an interview yesterday

It's with an imaging/x-ray company (It's actually the same company that found Lexi's dislocated hip). Same benefits that I have here and a litte more money. The best part is that its really laid back. If I finish my work before quitting time I can go home. I will also be allowed to keep my current schedule of 8:00 - 4:30

I will be without insurance for 3 months, and I will be paying more of my insurance when covered but it will be a happier environment and it will be much better for my mental well-being.

I really hope that I get this job! I won't know till the end of the week but I could really use some prayers and happy thoughts!

Lexi is slowly getting there

She was watching Play with me Sesame today. When the into song came on and Prarie Dawn started singing "yeah yeah yeah", Lexi repeated her and said "yeah yeah". I was floored because it was so unexpected. Looks like she will be talking before long.

2 weeks to go!

Until closing.......... The "pod" has been ordered and will be here a week from Today. Out neighbor took our dining table off our hands last night (we will have a new one at the house. So this weekend its back to more packing.............

The manipulation of a child

Lexi has been sleeping through the night since she was 9 weeks old. Well since her teething when she wakes oscar has been bringing her down to our room. Big mistake. Now when she wakes at night she cries and cries. She won't put herself back to sleep like she used to. So we have to retrain her again. I just got done rocking her and then put her back in her crib, she started crying again and stroked her till she stopped crying. Man, I thought I stopped doing this ages ago!

Is it still 1996?

Wow, I can't believe it. The neighborhood we are buying into isn't set up for dsl. Oscar and I have been on dsl for 4 years. I am totally going to go into withdrawal. I am going to put us on a priority wait list but that isn't a guarantee.

Now, West Palm is a rather large city, I mean you would think that dsl access would be everywhere. Right now we have cable internet, but when we move we just aren't going to be able to afford to keep it. We are going to be tight as it is. Oh well, we knew we were going to have to make adjustments, I guess this is going to be one of them.

Calgon take me away!

In the last month we have had 5 teeth come in. Now she is working on her canines (sigh)...............

Lexi is starting to get mor advenurous with her sitting in her bean back. she is sitting up in it and leaning over to get toys on the floor. well I was walsking from the kitchen and saw her doing this and she was about to fall back and I didnt catch her in time and she bumped her head on the ceramic tile floor. I think she hit the couch first so that kinda buffered her but she cried for a good five minutes.

Been MIA yet again

My boss is an asshat who is working me to death. As soon as we move I need to start looking for another job. I am spending so much time working on his personal shit that I cant get my stuff done.

Anyway, It looks like our moving date has been moved up. Closing will most likely be on March 10th. Holy Shit! So packing commences this weekend. I won't be able to post too much put I will post updates as soon as I can.
