Am I a bad mother?
I really don't read much to lexi. I find I spend most of my time letting her roam around since she started crawling. I really can't get her to stay in one place long enough to read to her. When I try to read to her she will take the book from me and either just sit there flipping the pages or she will throw it (she throws EVERYTHING). Ahhhh there are just so many things I am not doing with her yet it makes me feel like a bad mommy................._

Nah. But what Lexi does with books is what Chayleigh does to. Only difference is that Chayleigh LOVES books. But she would rather just flip through the pages than let me read them to her. Just keep trying and eventually she will let you read at least part of a book to her.
You are not a bad mommy - don't feel bad. Keep trying eventually she will want you to read to her.
Don't sweat that one. She'll settle down eventually and want to be read to. Emma is just to active to settle down for very long. We are just now getting to the point where she's interested in reading every day. But she often won't have patience for you to finish a page.
Jenny that is what I did last night and she was totally unphased!
Same here... I usually can't finished the page before Avery is flipping to the next. You are definitely not a bad mom!!
