Fun with finger foods

Lexi is FINALLY starting to eat finger foods by herself. THis morning we made pancakes and I gave one cut up to her, I fed her one piece and then she started taking pieces off the plate and feeding herself. I was so thrilled that I went out and bought her a breakfast in bed tray, sat her on the floor and put the tray in front of her. At lunch I put meat sticks and dices carrots in front of her to see what she would do. She fed herself about 2 and a half meat sticks (I fed her the rest) and about 4 or 5 pieces of the carrots ( again I fed her the rest). So from now on we are gonna feed her with us. Tonight we are having crab stuffed salmon with squash. The perfect meal for her. We have 3 months before she starts daycare, so if anything she will at least be able to feed herself!
