The nerve of some people!

My realtor called me yesterday to say that someone faxed an offer over on the house. they didn't even see it but they know the floor plan and the area. They made us low ball offer of 215k. Umm hello, we are selling it for 239k?!?!?!?

So we counter offered at 235k firm with no repair allowance (we are selling as is) and we want a 60 day close. So he came back with giving us a 30-90 day close but he still wants his price of 215k! He provided his "proof" of why we should sell it to him for that price. Our neighbor sold theirs in October for 221k and they have a screened in porch and upgrades. BUT he doesn't realized that they sold low becasue they were moving out of state.

Whatever, we are countering again. This will be my last one and if he doesn't like it then he can try to buy one of the other ones that are on the market for 250k. We are agreeing to the 215 ONLY if he pays all of our closing costs and his. I know he won't go for it, but I sure as hell am not gonna have someone bully me. We can't buy another house affordably with selling this place at 215k. Sorry buddy, I would rather stay here then get screwed by you.
