Yay! Congratulations! I'm so glad you finally found your space. What a wonderful feeling. What kind of square footage does it have? How many bedrooms, bathrooms, etc? And what a great backyard!

Congrats on the house!
Not to rain on your parade, but have you factored in the property taxes and homeowners insurance on the new place. They do assess you 2% of the sales price on the house (around $6,000 a year based on your offer). Your homeowners insurance will run you around $1,500 to $2,000 per year thanks to all of our wonderful hurricanes (not including flood insurance). Hopefully, I am wrong, but you may want to check the West Palm Beach property appraiser site to check the taxes and call around for some quotes on the homeowners insurance.

I still think your idea to move to Tennessee was genius, because you won't have all the crap to deal with. Only bad thing is the jobs up there really suck...

Anonymous who are you? I have already factored in everything. I am very much a planner. And with both of us being professionals we need a decent job market, that is why TN did not happen.
